Rosemary (Rose) O Thissell
Obituary
Rosemary Odette Thissell, 69, a lifelong resident of the Waldport community, passed away on July 5, 2022. She was born December 2, 1952 to Archie Sr. and Belle Bond.
Rose married Lynn Thissell in July of 1971. She is survived by her brother Archie Bond, son Kyle Schulson, daughter Stacy Thissell and daughter Kelly Fay. Rose had six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She also had many nieces and nephews. She leaves behind many close ties in the Waldport community.
Rose spent most of her working life making lunches at Waldport Elementary School and working in various restaurants throughout the community. After she retired from the school district, Rose started a second career as a manicurist. She was also a member of a local bowling team.
Rose was crafty and enjoyed many different hobbies over the years; including an impressive collection of shells and rocks from all over the country. She lived a full life of love and adventure, and will be missed by all who knew her. Services are being planned for a later date.
