Leslie Ruth Lightfall

December 26, 1949 ~ August 14, 2019 (age 69)

Leslie traveled the world, using singing, chanting, sacred geometry and ceremony to plant deep energetic roots into the Earth in different locations.  These "roots" allow the humans that visit those areas to more easily access the energetic information that is flowing directly from the core of the Earth. Leslie's passion was to inspire people to consciously reconnect themselves deeply with the Earth and to their own spiritual essence - and to network and share with each other about different ways they use sounding, singing and chanting to do this.  She held the vision for a global network of sound circles - individuals and groups of people singing and listening to the Earth, connecting to each other heart-to-heart around the world.

She worked primarily in New Zealand since Dec. 2004, with a trip to Iceland in 2009 and periodic trips to the Hawaiian Islands.  In May and June of 2013 she traveled to Easter Island (Rapa Nui), San Pedro de Atacama and the volcanoes of the Andes in Chile, and Lake Titicaca in Peru singing and listening to the Earth and Ancient Ones of each place.  In August she communed with the humpback whales in Tonga.

Short videos are available on YouTube in which Leslie shares some ways to listen for the Earth's Song and better understand how Mama Earth communicates with us. She created the Earth's Gifts series in 2011 and the Earth Shift Meditations video series in 2012 while living in her van in New Zealand.  In these videos she tells the stories of how she was shown to work co-creatively with the Ancient Ones and with the Earth energies.

Leslie practiced her EarthSong energy work on the Big Island of Hawaii.  Interacting with the sacred places of this island helped her to develop experience the concept of Vibrational Gardens first hand.   Vibrational Gardens is featured in the third High Tide Trilogy screenplay: A Whale of a Heart.  The Trilogy of movies was inspired by communion with the whales during her 2013 trip to Tonga.

Academically, Leslie earned a BA in Mathematics, a teaching credential, and an MA in Consciousness Studies/Expressive Arts.

"The most important training for this sound work, however, has come from Gaia herself while spending years living alone out in wild places in nature in New Zealand, listening to Earth and communing with the Ancient Ones and other multi-dimensional beings and energies who now walk with me and sing through me."  - Leslie Lightfall
