Kyle Owen Vinson passed away on June 10th, 2019. He was born on December 6th, 1995 to Kelley and Debbie Vinson of Toledo, Oregon.
Kyle grew up in Toledo, where he developed a love for the outdoors, especially fishing, hunting, riding 4-wheelers, and dirt bikes. He graduated from Toledo High School in 2014, where he had been an avid sports player. He then went on to Linn Benton Community College, in Albany where he excelled in the field of welding and fabrication. He graduated in 2016 with an honors degree in Welding and Fabrication Technology.
After getting his degree, Kyle decided to try commercial fishing aboard the F/V Pacific. He loved the adventure, excitement, hard work and camaraderie of fishing, and in turn, the fishing community embraced him with open arms and love.
Kyle was known to everyone as having a big heart, full of kindness and endless compassion. He would often go above and beyond to help others in need without asking for anything in return, and was a loyal friend. His contagious smile could light up a room, and the joy and laughter he brought to many will be sorely missed. He enjoyed life to the fullest and never let anything get him down, and never gave up. Above all, he was an amazing and loving son.
Kyle is survived by his parents, Kelley and Debbie Vinson of Toledo, Oregon
Grandparents Jerald O. Spores (his buddy) and Vicki Channer of Logsden
Grandmother Arlene Parsons of Newport; Grandmother Barbara Vinson of Toledo and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and his dog Sadie.
